Assembly Torque Requirements

Recommended Tightening Torque Values The correct torque will maximize the retention of cabling to cable-mounted connectors as well as permit sealed connectors to function reliably at their full rated level of performance. The following table provides the tightening torque value required to securely assemble plugs to cabling and receptacles to panels. The torque values are to be applied to the cap nuts of plugs and to the mounting nuts of receptacles
