Contact blocks and other insulating components are manufactured from various high-performance materials, typically PEEK® (polyether-etherketone), PBT (polybutylene-terephthalate), or Teflon®. They provide superior performance over competing materials in operating temperature ranges, as well as resistance to chemicals, ionizing radiation, and water absorption.
